As a noted expert, she has been breaking new ground in the field of postpartum depression through her writing and clinical practice for over 20 years. |

A native of Saint Louis, Missouri, Kleiman has lived in the Philadelphia area since 1982 with her two children and her husband. In 1988 she founded The Postpartum Stress Center, an outpatient treatment facility for perinatal mood and anxiety disorders. The Center provides compassionate support and state-of-the-art treatment for women and their families. |

Kleiman’s pioneering work has paved the way for healthcare practitioners, clinicians and women who struggle with postpartum depression to gain a deeper understanding of this disorder and its impact on the family. In addition to her writing and teaching, Kleiman maintains her private practice at The Postpartum Stress Center. |
